  • 30/06/2023 - Order upload via csv or Excel file - it is now possible to create orders in bulk from a csv file or Excel file, using your own file format.
  • 29/06/2023 - Split packaging details can be view for orders which have been split. When a large order is split into multiple boxes in one consignment, the packing details can be seen on the 'Split Packaging Details' tab.
  • 15/06/2023 - Shipping rates are now available on OD to download for your account, or to estimate the rate of a specific parcel, it can be found on the Orders menu option, full documentation is available here.

May 2023

  • 02/06/2023 - Product mapping and channel settings added to the channel integration screen
  • 23/05/2023 - Shipping mapping added to channel integration screen, now you can easily control which shipping service from your sales channel connect with the shipping services on OD.
  • 17/05/2023 - Item weights and package weights added to open and processed orders so you can more easily see the weights of parcels, which is particularly useful if you are arranging collections.
  • 16/05/2023 - Channel Integration screen released - found under settings, this is a limited release of the channel integrations module, allows you to turn on and off your sales channels, order sync, and inventory sync as and when required.
  • 06/05/2023 - 'Customer Notes' renamed 'Packing Notes', to differentiate between the three different types of order notes, we have renamed 'Customer Notes' to 'Packing Notes'. These notes are visible to the person who will be packing the order.
  • 05/05/2023 - New 'Reports' screen added - this new screen will allow you to run reports on demand and download the data as a csv or Excel file. If you have any specific requirements for returns that are 
  • 04/04/2023 - Manual Order address search - when placing a manual order, it is now possible to search all previous addresses for past orders in the system, and then auto-populate the address of the new order.
  • 02/04/2023 - Auto-locking rules now have 'Shipping Service', and 'Stock Level' available as parameters. Processed Orders search now has customer email address, and product SKU available as search options.

April 2023

  • 25/04/2023 - Auto-save Shopify gift notes - gift notes from Shopify can now be automatically saved against the order to be printed and included at the packing station.
  • 24/04/2023 - FBA settings screen now shows the Amazon barcode, and the system barcode, making it easier to identify which barcode setting you should choose for a particular item.
  • 20/04/2023 - Manual order entry form country list update - the most commonly used countries now appear at the top of the list, making it quicker to find.
  • 10/04/2023 - Unlinked Items screen - the new unlinked items screen can be used to link any items from your sales channels to inventory items on OD, ensuring that stock is updated correctly and orders appear correctly.

March 2023

  • 28/03/2023 - Fulfilment costs are now shown on open orders grid, and when choosing a shipping service for an open order
  • 25/03/2023 - Manual orders have been improved, orders placed using the manual order form will now appear on open orders immediately, unless they need any manual verification, rather than taking 10-15 minutes to be processed first.
  • 20/03/2023 - Inventory screen improvements - can now view and edit all item details by double-clicking on any inventory item. It is also possible to create new stock items and compositions directly on OD. Inventory items have full stats available, including stock history, returns, orders, sold with, and much more.

February 2023

  • 20/02/2023 - Open Orders and Processed Orders screens have a column selection saving function so you can save multiple column choices into 'views' based on your specific requirements.
  • 18/02/2023 - Inventory screen grid update - the main grid for the processed orders screen has been updated and improved, it now includes a column chooser, and data sorting and filtering on all columns to make managing inventory easier.
  • 14/02/2023 - Returns screen now has a toggle to switch between actioned and non-actioned returns, so you can find all of them on one screen.
  • 10/02/2023 - Processed Orders screen grid update - the main grid for the processed orders screen has been updated and improved, it now includes a column chooser, and data sorting and filtering on all columns to make managing orders easier.

January 2023

  • 16/01/2023 - Open Orders screen grid update - the main grid for the open orders screen has been updated and improved, it now includes a column chooser, and data sorting and filtering on all columns to make managing orders easier.
  • 12/01/2023 - Stock In List screen will block composite items - to prevent issues booking stock in, it will now not be possible to add composite items to stock in lists, only the child items can booked in.

December 2022

  • 21/12/2022 - Open Orders search returns processed orders if no matching open orders - if you search on processed orders for an order reference number, and it has already been processed or cancelled, it will now return a list of matching processed orders instead.
  • 08/12/2022 - Warehouse notes - you can now find notes from the warehouse, and send notes back to the warehouse for any open order. This will usually be used by the warehouse to alert you to any issues that are preventing the order from being shipped, eg stock issues, address issues, etc. 
  • 01/12/2022 - Editing stock in lists - after being added stock in lists can now be updated, you can now update the tracking number, courier, expected date, etc.

November 2022

  • 11/11/2022 - Auto locking and unlocking of orders - it is not possible to set rules that will cause orders to be automatically locked as soon as they are synced to Order Dispatch, full documentation is available here.
  • 18/11/2022 - Editing order items - it is now possible to edit order items of orders that have already been placed on OD, full documentation is available here.

October 2022

  • 17/10/2022 - Stock in lists now include a delete button, so you can delete completely any list that has not been received yet
  • 17/10/2022 - User management - it is now possible to manage users and permissions directly from Order Dispatch, you can created, edit, and remove users as required. Full documentation is available here.

August 2022

  • 25/08/2022 - Viewing stock in lists now includes a summary of the current status so you can see how much is left to complete at a glance.
  • 20/08/2022 - The import for creating stock-in lists has been simplified - now you only need to import the item details, the details about the shipment itself can be entered into the main form. Documentation has been updated.
  • 11/08/2022 - Returns labels created via OD can now be either My Hermes, or Royal Mail. Returns documentation has been updated and can be found in full here.
  • 06/08/2022 - Stock-in list creation is now available directly on Order Dispatch, you can read the full documentation for the new features here. All customer will be recommended to migrate to this new process as it will significantly speed up receiving stock and provides much better reporting than was previously available.

July 2022

  • 12/07/2022 - Stock-In lists are now visible on Order Dispatch, showing the current status and progress for each list, full documentation will be published shortly.

June 2022

  • 01/06/2022 - Inventory report now shows in-orders stock, and available stock, as well as the total stock level
  • 01/06/2022 - Order sync time has been reduced, so orders should be visible on OD more quickly after the order is placed
  • 09/06/2022 - Cancelling and deleting orders is now available directly on the open orders screen, you can read the full documentation here
  • 20/06/2022 - New 'Actions' menu, lock/unlock, cancel, and delete functions have been merged into a new 'Actions' button that will allow you to use them on multiple orders at the same time.

May 2022

  • Improvements to search for processed orders, you can now search by customer name and product name, and search speed, in general, has been improved.
  • Improvements to search for open orders, you can now search by the customer-facing Shopify order number, instead of the system order number.
  • 27/05/2022 - Returns portal settings now include customisable policy fields
  • 20/05/2022 - Reports subscription is now available from the settings under 'subscribe events', you can read the full documentation here

Apr 2022

  • Returns improvement - the returns screen can now mark returns as 'actioned' this will remove them from the list, this is to be used if you have already processed a refund/exchange. You can also create a resend/exchange directly from this screen.

Mar 2022

  • Direct order entry - you can now enter an order directly into OD without using an external integration.

Feb 2022

  • Direct FBA integration has been added to OD, you can connect your Amazon account and create Amazon shipments without having to leave OD, it will generate all the box labels, barcodes, etc that are required and create all the orders on the system for shipping, full documentation is available here.

Jan 2022

  • EORI, IOSS, and VAT numbers can be added on the company settings page, required for international shipping.
